Event Production

MCI Events & Productions is a Singapore event production company handling staging, audiovisual, lighting, set design and live show delivery for events from 50 to 50,000 attendees. We run production for government agencies, healthcare institutions and corporate clients, and we own the technical delivery end to end rather than subcontracting it.

Production is the part of an event that has no second take. The rig either holds, the sound either carries to the back of the hall, and the show either starts on time. We plan for that: technical drawings before build, a full rehearsal against the run-of-show, and a crew on site from load-in to load-out.

Because our production and manpower operations sit in the same company, the crew building your set and the crew running your registration desk answer to the same project manager. That matters most on the large public events where the two are impossible to separate — a roadshow that needs a stage at 8am and forty ambassadors at 9am is one job, not two contracts.

Questions

Frequently Asked

What size events do you produce?+

From 50-person seminars to mass public events of 50,000 attendees. Our public sector work in particular has run at both ends of that range within the same contract.

Do you own your production equipment or hire it in?+

We handle production in-house and bring in specialist equipment where a specific show calls for it. Either way the technical delivery stays under our project manager rather than being handed to a third party.

Can you take on production only, if we already have an event manager?+

Yes. Production is frequently scoped on its own, working to a client-side or agency-side event manager. We are equally used to being the technical supplier rather than the lead agency.

Do you work with government agencies?+

Regularly. Much of our production work has been delivered for public sector and healthcare clients, including multi-year programme contracts.
